Pyro desktop enviroment for Linux

Pyro is a new desktop environment for Linux built on Mozilla Firefox, which tries to integrate the Web and modern desktop computing.

The  entire computer screen is redrawn as a Web Page, using Firefox. Basically Pyro acts as a windows manager which displays Web content as well as other applications. It use Window compositing - the latest Linux technology.

After Microsoft code is added to Linspire’s operating system, users will be able to chat with Windows Live Messenger buddies and use other  Windows features.

Parallels has released the latest version of their Parallels Desktop software for Mac computers.  This software uses Intel Virtualisation technology.

Parallels allows users to run Windows, Linux or other OS along with Mac OS X  on a single computer.  It is priced at $79.99 .

Reltronics has released a new range of desktop computers  with AMD -64 dual core or Intel 32 bit dual core processors. These computers have a preinstalled openSUSE Linux 10.2  operating system.

These computers are configured for different applications - basic surfing, office, multimedia and ultimate.  It also has an office suite, web browser,  email application, graphic design,  file servers, accounting and scientific applications.Â
